According to the Council of Ministers of September 21 of 2017 the Tourism Strategy 2027 (ET27) was approved, establishing actions and objectives for tourism in the next ten years.

On September 14 the Council of Ministers approved the proposed bill for the Great Options of the Plan for 2018 which was sent for analysis and opinion of the Economic and Social Council; as well as 12 draft resolutions for the conclusion of investment contracts in the global amount of approximately EUR 160 million with certain business groups.

V. INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY

The Regulation (EU) 2015/2424 of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Council Regulation (EC) no. 207/2009 on the Community trade mark will enter into force on 1 October which amends the system of fees applicable to trademarks and examination procedures, absolute grounds, opposition and cancellation, relative grounds and appeal.

The Decree Law no. 122/2017, which ensure compliance of the Nagoya Protocol (Access and Benefit Sharing), entered into force on 22 September, ensuring the implementation of the Regulation (EU) no. 511/2014.

On 22/09/2017, the Executive Director of the EUIPO signed the Decision adopting the revised Office Guidelines, which received a favorable opinion from the EUIPO’s Management Board earlier in September (Decision No EX 17-1 adopting the Guidelines).
